I've been remembering his last birthday at the Magic Kingdom when we were all together enjoying our family and celebrating the blessing and joy that Ashton is in our lives. We had a blast. And we were all very happy.
This year the celebration will be low key and small, but the celebration of Ashton's birthday will still be filled with joy and love.
The only difference now is that Ashton gets to have several parties instead of one.
This weekend at Peggy and Larry's house Ashton will have a pool party with a bounce house, food and fun. He'll have a great time with his brothers, Austen & Dalton and his family.
On his birthday, he'll party with his friends at school with a Halloween themed cake and gift bags for his friends.
Lastly .. as if that wasn't enough .. My mom is getting the Rodriguez family and friends together for a small dinner and cake in Hialeah.
By Tuesday, I expect Ashton to be partied out.
